EA Member Insurance
When you become a member of ENT you have access to the EA National Insurance Scheme provided by Marsh Insurance Brokers offers members 24/7 Personal Accident and Public Liability Insurance at all times whilst engaged in non-income earning equestrian activities. EA Club Insurance
As an ENT affiliated club you have access to the EA National Insurance Programme, which offers clubs Personal Accident, Public Liability, Professional Indemnity and Management Liability Insurance. EA Coach Insurance
As an EA affiliated coach, you have access to the EA National Insurance Programme, which offers 24/7 Personal Accident, Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance whilst engaged in coaching activities (within the scope of your accreditation). If you coach beyond your EA accreditation, train or compete clients’ horses or run an agistment property, please contact Marsh Sport to make sure you have the appropriate cover for your business.
EA Officials Top Up Insurance
The EA National Insurance Programme offers ‘top-up’ cover to EA Officials for Personal Accident, Public Liability and Professional Indemnity who officiate in their capacity as an EA registered official at non-EA affiliated events or earn an income from their activities as an EA registered official. This is in addition to the cover you would hold through your EA Membership, which covers you 24/7 for any non-income earning equestrian activities. To be eligible for this insurance you will need to be a current EA member and hold a current EA official accreditation.

Membership Structure
The ENT memership cateogries are part of the national membership structure, which came into effect 1 July 2013. Under the 'one sport, one membership' structure it has delivered consistant membership categoires. Competitor membership is available to those that participate and contribute to the competitive environment of equestrian sport. A competitor member is permitted to compete at all levels of the sport. You can register a horse and obtain competition licences across all disciplines. 24/7 insurance applies. You have voting rights for ENT Board elections and AGMs (you must be 18 years and over to vote).
Junior Competitor with current PCANT membership is available to members who are also a current junior member of a recgionised pony club within the Northern Territory and is affiliated with Pony Club Australia Northern Territory. Same conditions apply as Competitor membership above.
Participant membership is available to those who wish to activley participate in equestrian sport activities such as clinics and training days etc. You can complete under this category however, can only compete in certain categories. Typically our affiliated clubs do not run participant classes, however through Equestrian Northern Territory Show Horse you are able to compete in all events under this category with the exception of the official classes at the state Show Horse and Rider Championships (HOTY) which requires Competitor membership. 24/7 insurance applies. You can register a horse but if the horse is being competed officially then the competitor will need to hold the correct membership. You have voting rights for Board elections and AGMs (you must be 18 years and over to vote).
Recreational membership is available to those who wish to activley participate in equestrian sport activities such as clinics and training days etc. You can complete under this category however, can only compete in certain categories. Typically our affiliated clubs do not run participant classes, however through Equestrian Northern Territory Show Horse you are able to compete in all events under this category with the exception of the official classes at the state Show Horse and Rider Championships (HOTY) which requires Competitor membership. 24/7 insurance applies. Supporter membership is available to those that contribute to the competitive environment of equestrian sport but do not participate in competitions, such as officials, owners or non-competing coaches and volunteers. They are recognised as having a significant contribution to the sport and give back through their various areas. EA accredited officials only (your name must appear on an officials list with one of the EA disciplines) who do not compete or own horses. 24/7 insurance applies. You have voting rights for Board elections and AGMs (you must be 18 years and over to vote).
Club membership is available to incorporated clubs that support development of equestrian across the country.
Commercial membership is available to businesses or groups which align with EA to access EA services for a commercial benefit; people wanting to register horses in the name of their company or family name. However, anyone competing the horse officially will need to be a financial member in their own right.
Sport Affiliate membership is available to any Equestrian groups which affiliate for the purpose of equestrian sport delivery i.e. Show Societies.
