2021 Pryde's EasiFeed Pre Royal - That's a Wrap

The 2021 Pryde’s EasiFeed Pre Royal (held at the Darwin Show Grounds 9-11 July) show cased some of the Northern Territory’s top equestrian combinations over three days in the disciplines of: Dressage, Show Horse and Jumping.

The Pre Royal was not just a competition.  Pryde’s EasiFeed delivered a nutritional webinar, taking viewers through how to care for your horse to create longevity, allowing them to have a sustained quality of life.  Many Equestrian Northern Territory (ENT) members mentioned they would love to see educational opportunities such as this continued to be delivered – watch this space!

Whilst the lead up to the event was not ideal with the Greater Darwin Region going into lockdown, resulting in invited interstate officials being unable to attend, ENT’s investment into developing home grown officials came to the forefront.  With the help of local judges and course designer the event was able to proceed, keeping one of the NT premium equestrian events on the calendar.

This year a new organising committee joined the team, the Darwin Show Horse Club, joining the ranks with the Darwin Dressage Club and Darwin Show Jumping Club.  As always ENT’s affiliated clubs did not disappoint delivering a very professional and polished event, with an army of friendly and helpful volunteers.

ENT is very pleased to be able to continue to support this event via its affiliated clubs, not only for ENT members but for the greater NT equestrian community as well.
