2022 NT Interschool Squad Announced
Twenty one talented Equestrian Northern Territory (ENT) Junior Members have formed the 2022 NT Interschool Squad.
This is a first for many years to have a squad of this size. ENT along with squad coaches: Anne-Marie Cruickshank (Dressage) and Nicole Multimer (Jumping) are thrilled with the number of members, and excited to see how the riders develop over the qualification period.
The squad will now embark on monthly coaching sessions with each coach, starting this month through to June. Additionally, secondary school members will be starting their EA Coaching Pathway studying Introductory Horse Management and Riding. Local EA Skill Specific Training Assessors (SSTA) Vanessa Lines and Jane Palmer will be able to assist them with education in these areas and assessment of the course requirements.
All squad members will now be eagerly working towards their qualification criteria, in the hope to gain the honour to represent the Northern Territory at the 2022 Marcus Oldham Australian Interschool Championships, later this year at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre in New South Wales.
