Equestrian Northern Territory Members Shine at Hawkesbury Dressage Festival

Equestrian Northern Territory is proud to announce the successful participation of our members in recent prestigious events at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre, New South Wales. Over the past few days, four of our dedicated members attended the EA accredited Dressage Stewards course, while three of our esteemed Dressage Judges participated in the Hawkesbury Dressage Festival.

Members Karen Duminski, Sandy Enniss, Amy Fisher, and Sheena Huppatz attended the dressage stewards course facilitated by EA Dressage Steward General Cathie Drury-Klein. This exceptional training opportunity allowed them to learn and develop alongside other FEI stewards, benefiting from the collective knowledge and expertise shared within this elite environment.

Our Dressage Judges, Rachael Fisher, Anna Thompson, and Danila Lochrin, had the distinguished honor of judging at the Hawkesbury Dressage Festival. They demonstrated their profound knowledge of the sport on the big stage, judging alongside some of Australia's highest-ranking dressage judges. This experience was invaluable, further proving their expertise and dedication to continuous personal development. Rachael and Anna commenced their upgrades to Elementary, and Danila to Advanced, marking significant milestones in their judging careers.

Rachael Fisher's participation was made possible by the Territory Sports Academy officials scholarship, for which we are incredibly grateful. We are excited to announce that the next round of scholarships will be opening soon, providing more opportunities for our talented members.

None of this would have been possible without the annual funding received from Territory Families, Housing and Communities. Their support ensures that our members continue to thrive and excel in their respective fields.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Hawkesbury Dressage Club for organizing a first-class event and making us feel so welcome. Their hospitality and commitment to excellence made this experience truly unforgettable.

Stay tuned for more updates and opportunities as we continue to support and celebrate the achievements of our Equestrian Northern Territory members.
